It is common these days to use your ISP's outgoing SMTP mail server to send mail. This is cut down on spam created by viruses that would otherwise be allowed to send out their spam/virus emails. By forcing you to use their SMTP server this cuts down on this for all of us.
For you e-mail to work properly you must use the proper SMTP mail server settings. The following is a list of some of the more common providers.
